It has been substantially revised and updated following the amendments introduced to the fundamental Law 5092\/2024 by the recent Law 5313\/2026 (Government Gazette A\u2019 102).<\/em><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-0615c39 pbmit-align-left elementor-widget elementor-widget-pbmit_custom_heading\" data-id=\"0615c39\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"pbmit_custom_heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"pbmit-custom-heading left-align animation-style1 \"><h4 class=\"pbmit-element-title\">\r\n\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\tAbstract\n\n\n\r\n\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t<\/h4>\r\n\t\t<\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3ebe79a elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"3ebe79a\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>This legal study, presented in the form of a codified analysis, aims to provide a comprehensive examination of, and practical guidance on, the legal issues arising in connection with the management, protection and development of the seashore and the beach under Greek law.<\/p><p>To this end, it analyses the current legislative and regulatory framework governing the delimitation of the seashore and the beach, the procedures for granting rights of use, as well as the mechanisms for monitoring compliance and imposing administrative sanctions.<\/p><p>The applicable legal framework comprises a broad range of regulatory provisions that have undergone significant amendments in recent years, most notably through the enactment of Law 5092\/2024, as amended and currently in force, which introduced a new regulatory regime for the protection and sustainable development of coastal areas.<\/p><p>Particular emphasis is placed on the recent amendments introduced by Law 5313\/2026 (Government Gazette A\u2019 102), examined in light of contemporary environmental protection requirements and sustainable coastal management.
